Happiness is having some free time on a Sunday to watch grown men clobbering whichever man has the oblong ball.
Sadness is watching the teams you picked for your football pool at work slowly not winning the games that you thought that they should.

Some people spend their enitre life looking for happiness, i'm glad you found it. Ironically, it is almost always accompanied by saddness. ah life :)
Even so, the Chargers (mediocre at best this year, though still my favorite team) beat the Colts (arguably the second best team in football going into the game) last night! That's better than winning any football pool!
sacrificing yourself for the greater good? rather utilitarian of you. :) or maybe you're sacrificing meager happiness for greater happiness...
